| 2. | A random pattern is generated and flashed via lights. This will have to be memorized (something that’s very hard to do while still sleeping). |

| 3a. | The memorized pattern is repeated via the buttons. |
 |

| 3b. | If not, then it is assumed that the person is not awake, and alarm will continue to sound and can not be turned off. |
